JOIN THE COMMUNITY

Main purpose is to promote sustainability jatropha supply chains by reconstructing the traceability and by informing final users in a clear and transparent way. The ambitious project is called “Jatrophabook.com”;  within the new “Bio network” it will be possible to present your project, share experiences around the world and to start specific discussions about biofuels sustainability, especially regarding Jatropha energy supply chains. Each private/ company /institution can register for free during the conference, and add the project in the interactive map. Every project is provided with a personal space showing its activities with the support of multimedia tools.

Registered projects of the supply chain will  have the possibility to tag each other on the map, allowing integrated final users to see how sustainability practices have been implemented along it.
Jatrophabook and its community will cooperate with some of the most important international institutions to establish guidelines to improve Jatropha sustainability. Local institutions will support the delineation of ad hoc principles for every country and will provide assistance to the registered members. The final result will be a bottom-up process in which, through the participation of all the members, from the seed producers to the final users, Jatropha sustainability will be closer.
