5 new Airflight company join the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Users Group |

Boeing and Sustainable Aviation Fuel Users Group (www.safug.org ) announce the agreement with other 5 flight company. The first group established in sept 2008 was formed by Air France, Air New Zealand, ANA (All Nippon Airways), Cargolux, Gulf Air, Japan Airlines, KLM, SAS, Virgin Atlantic Airways. The new members are Alaska Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, TUIfly e Virgin Blue. Also Boeing and UOP (a division of Honeywell, specialized in refinering technology) are involved in the project. The group aims to speed up comercialization of sustainable biofuel through the Roundtable for Sustainable Biofuels (RSB), that involve environmental organizations, financial operator, biofuel developing company and oil Company. |
